Author Guidelines

International Journal of Computing Science and Systems (IJCSS)

Authors are requested to carefully follow the guidelines below when preparing manuscripts for submission to IJCSS. Adhering to these guidelines ensures a smooth review process and timely publication.


1. Manuscript Submission

  • Manuscripts must be submitted in MS Word (DOC/DOCX) format.

  • Submissions should be sent through the official journal submission portal or designated email.

  • Only original, unpublished work will be accepted. Manuscripts under review elsewhere will not be considered.


2. Paper Format Requirements

  • Paper size: A4, single-column or double-column format.

  • Font style: Times New Roman

  • Font size: 12 pt (for text), 14 pt (for headings)

  • Line spacing: 1.5

  • Margins: 1 inch on all sides

  • Word count: 2,500 – 8,000 words

  • All figures, tables, and charts must be clear, high resolution, and properly labeled with captions.


3. Manuscript Structure

A standard manuscript must include the following sections:

  1. Title

  2. Author(s) Name, Affiliation, Country, Email

  3. Abstract (150–250 words)

  4. Keywords (4–8 relevant keywords)

  5. Introduction

  6. Related Work / Literature Review

  7. Methodology / Model / Proposed System

  8. Results and Discussion

  9. Conclusion

  10. Acknowledgment (optional)

  11. References (APA, IEEE, or standard scholarly format)


4. Plagiarism and Ethical Standards

  • All submissions must exhibit originality with a recommended similarity index of below 15%.

  • Plagiarism, data manipulation, or unethical research practices are strictly prohibited.

  • Authors must disclose conflicts of interest, if any.

  • Use of AI tools must be appropriately acknowledged when applicable.


5. Authorship Policy

  • Only individuals who have substantially contributed to the research should be listed as authors.

  • Changes to authorship after submission require written consent from all authors.

  • The corresponding author is responsible for communicating with the journal.


6. Peer-Review Process

  • All submissions undergo double-blind peer review.

  • Typical review time: 10–20 working days.

  • Authors may be required to revise their manuscripts based on reviewer comments.

  • Acceptance is based on originality, technical quality, clarity, and relevance.


7. Copyright & Licensing

  • Authors retain copyright of their work.

  • IJCSS is an open-access journal, allowing unrestricted access to all published papers.

  • Authors grant IJCSS permission to publish and archive their articles.


8. Article Processing Charge (APC)

  • A standard APC (Article Processing Charge) may apply after acceptance.

  • Payment details will be communicated upon acceptance.

  • APC covers editorial review, processing, typesetting, digital archiving, and open-access hosting.


9. After Acceptance

  • Authors must submit the final camera-ready version of the manuscript.

  • A publication certificate will be issued upon publication.

  • Articles will be indexed and made available through recognized academic platforms.
